We are only a few weeks away from our destination wedding in Italy and it’s time to start thinking about what we need to bring along with us to Rome. Let’s check out our destination wedding packing list!
Since it is our wedding, but also a week-long trip, the whole process has to start with the right luggage. And as you guys know our go-to luggage is American Tourister. Their lightweight luggage makes it a breeze to pack and stay under the weight limits. For this trip, I’ll be bringing the 28’’ Superset as my checked bag and the 20’’ Superset as my carry on.
Drew and I will be arriving in Italy about a week before the wedding so we can have some time to ourselves before everyone gets there. So, we will be starting our trip in Bologna and will head down through Florence and then finally to Rome. (Of course, we had to include at least a mini road trip in the festivities) So for our destination wedding packing list we have to start with the clothes we’ll need for our pre-wedding adventure! We need some fun exploring outfits, probably similar to what we wore earlier this summer in Abruzzo, but maybe with a light jacket this time of year!
Then after our little pre-wedding road trip we will be meeting our families in Rome a few days before the wedding, so we will need some sightseeing outfits as well, which means some comfortable sneakers and casual clothes. And then finally, starting on Friday all the wedding festivities begin and I can’t wait to show you guys how many different outfits I’ll need for that. Hint: there are a few!
And with all those outfit changes, I’ll need more shoes, accessories, etc. And the same goes for Drew. PS: We got coordinating shoes for the wedding day and we are so excited to surprise you guys! And of course all of this will be going in our American Tourister luggage, which is well-suited for any destination wedding packing list, for guests or brides and grooms!
Anyways, we are so excited for our destination wedding! Our wedding planner, Cristen from Cristen & Co. has been working away for the past few months on the design and we are so excited to see it finally all come together!
