We teamed up with the founder of Highclere Castle Gin, Adam von Gootkin, on Instagram Live for an exclusive look at the England-based spirit brand’s namesake gin. We went live on November 17th at Noon ET (5pm for those in the UK!), inspired by the old adage, “It’s 5 o’clock somewhere,” with the ‘somewhere’ being the real-life Downton Abbey–Highclere Castle, where the gin was born.
“Last year I had the pleasure of visiting Highclere Castle in person. This year I’m bringing the Highclere Castle experience to my followers via Instagram Live.” said J.Q. “I’m excited to speak with J.Q. about our unique origin story and all the great cocktails you can make with Highclere Castle Gin.” said Adam.
Fans may not be able to visit the famed filming location of the popular series, Downton Abbey, i.e. Highclere Castle, in person right now, so tune into our Instagram Live to experience the essence of it from their homes. We hosted a Q&A session, alongside Adam von Gootkin, to discuss all there is to know about Highclere Castle Gin, from how Adam connected with the Earl of Carnarvon to partner on the creation of this award-winning gin, to all the holiday cocktails we should be making with it this season.
