About the Boston Marathon
The Marathon is a time-honored tradition since 1897 and is perhaps the most well-known 26.2-mile road race in the world. It’s also one of the most difficult and attracts the top runners from across the globe. But it’s not only famous for the pageantry and world-class runners. It’s famous as being one of the greatest celebrations of the year in Boston. More than a half-million people come out for the marathon, most of whom congregate in the Boylston Street/Copley Square/Kenmore Square area. And if you are running the Marathon why not book a recovery treatment at Encore Boston?
