After our magical stay at Nay Palad, we continued our journey through the Philippines with a stop at Pangulasian Island, one of the standout properties from El Nido Resorts.

Located in the heart of Bacuit Bay, this stunning island retreat is surrounded by towering limestone cliffs, lush forests, and crystal-clear waters—ideal for travelers seeking luxury that feels deeply connected to nature.
We checked into a spacious Beach Villa, just steps from the shoreline. Waking up to the sound of gentle waves and walking out onto soft white sand each morning felt surreal. The room was modern and elegant, blending seamlessly with its natural surroundings, while still offering every comfort—air conditioning, Wi-Fi, a full mini-bar, and a deep soaking tub for post-beach relaxation.
Our days on Pangulasian were packed with adventure. We took full advantage of the water sports on offer, from snorkeling the vibrant coral reefs right off the beach to trying E-foiling for the first time—an unexpected highlight. The marine life here was incredible, and having direct access to it from our villa made it feel like our own private aquarium.
One of the most memorable moments was a private dinner set up for us right on the beach. As the sun set over Bacuit Bay, we enjoyed fresh seafood under the stars with only the sound of the ocean in the background. It was intimate, thoughtful, and perfectly executed—exactly the kind of special experience that makes Pangulasian so unforgettable.
Though we filled our days with activity, there was still plenty of time to relax. The infinity pool was a favorite for sunset cocktails, and the resort’s commitment to sustainability added another layer of meaning to our stay. El Nido Resorts is known for its eco-conscious practices, and it felt good knowing our visit supported efforts to protect this pristine environment.

Pangulasian Island is what you imagine when you think of a tropical escape—but better. Secluded but not isolated, luxurious but not overbuilt, it strikes the perfect balance. It was the ideal way to end our Philippines trip, and we’re already talking about when we can go back.
