My Honest Review of the Hermès Birkin 30: The Bag, the Myth, the Lifestyle

After years of admiring from afar (and let’s be real, obsessively researching), I finally got my hands on one. Now that I’ve lived with it, used it, traveled with it, and styled it a dozen different ways, I’m ready to share my honest thoughts.
We filmed this episode in Rome, at the stunning Anantara Palazzo Naiadi, which felt like the perfect setting for a bag this timeless. The elegance of the hotel and the history of the city mirrored exactly what the Birkin 30 represents: legacy, craftsmanship, and quiet luxury.
Why I Chose the 30cm Size
Let’s start with the size. The 30cm Birkin strikes that perfect balance—it’s structured and compact, but still roomy enough to hold my daily essentials without looking bulky. For my lifestyle—whether I’m heading to a meeting, lunch, or airport lounge—it just works. It’s big enough for my phone, wallet, sunglasses, and a few extras, yet small enough to carry comfortably all day.
What Fits Inside
I know people always ask, “But what actually fits?” In mine, I usually carry a mini makeup pouch, my travel-sized perfume, sunglasses, a camera and sometimes my Kindle. It fits alot!

Mine is in Clemence leather with gold hardware. The texture feels luxurious but durable—ideal for regular use. I love how the leather holds its shape while still feeling soft to the touch, and the hardware is subtle but eye-catching. Every detail on this bag has been thought through. Even the stitching feels like art.
