The historic Hotel Taschenbergpalais Kempinski Dresden has announced the completion of its extensive renovation, just six months after its ceremonial reopening in February 2024. The iconic hotel, originally commissioned by Augustus the Strong in the early 18th century, now boasts updated interiors that elegantly merge its rich Baroque heritage with contemporary sophistication. Featuring 180 rooms and 31 luxurious suites, including the newly unveiled Royal Suite, the transformation highlights a fresh vision of luxury that pays homage to the past while embracing modern design.

Cocktail enthusiasts will be transported back to the opulent era of the ‘Roaring Twenties’ at Bar 1705, where an extensive menu of innovative drinks and timeless classics provides the perfect setting for evening relaxation. Named after the year the Taschenbergpalais was originally built, the bar’s elegant ambiance is infused with vintage charm, reflecting the grand history of the palace.
