Fall is an exciting time in Boston. Everyone is back in the city; the Red Sox are playing and the leaves are starting to change color. The crisp air brings in a wave of sweater weather that is just a delight after the hot summer. One of my favorite events really kicks off the fall fashion season—the Her Campus College Fashion Show. This was my third year attending the show and it was more fun than ever. I was especially excited because I got to partner with one of my favorite everyday brands—Primark!
I actually live right down the street from the Downtown Crossing Primark, which also happens to be the first location that opened in North America. Ever since Primark opened in my neighborhood a few years ago, I have been a fan of their chic, affordable styles. Their shelves are always stocked with the things you want right now, whether it’s fun beach wear in the summertime or cozy sweaters this time of year, whenever I need something, my first stop is Primark.
This year Primark was one of the sponsors at the Her Campus College Fashion Show and there were lots of goodies for everyone! First off all, there was an amazing sparkly photo fall, perfect for snapping a picture in your favorite Primark outfit. I wore a black blazer, a sheer pink top and a sweater knit skirt and topped it all off with a preppy headband the complete the look.
Next, there were some fabulous fall styles to check out next to the photo wall and Primark representatives were even giving away some fall accessories as well! I snagged a cute checked scarf, grey hat and some fun hair clips!
The Her Campus College Fashion Show is always so inspiring. Not only are there lots of fun brands and things to do before the show, but during the show there are real women of all backgrounds and sizes walking the runway. It is always such a blast and so empowering. What another amazing show, I already can’t wait for next year!
