A trip to Miami is fun all year round, but its tropical climate is even more appealing once the first few snowflakes start falling here in Boston. 1) Visit Miami: Wynwood Walls
The famous Wynwood Walls are the epicenter of the thriving Wynwood neighborhood, which only about ten years ago was still an industrial no-man’s land that was dangerous to visit. The curators seek out inventive street artists to install murals, swapping them out on a rotational basis. This mural is by Kenny Scharf.

3) South Beach Lifeguard Huts
The pastel lifeguard shelters on South Beach are an iconic sight and if you have the chance, take a long walk on the beach when you visit Miami to check then out and to snap a few pictures. We visited in between a storm so it was a little breezy when we took these photos, but it was still well-worth it! Pro tip, if you don’t like walking long distances on beach sand, I personally don’t, walk as much as you can on the board walk and then just pop out onto the beach when you get close to one of the structures.
4) Brunch at Swan
Swan is a trendy restaurant in the Design District in Miami proper and it is a perfect place for a brunch when you want to get some Instagram photos. Both the outdoor patio and the inside dining room are very photogenic and the food is delicious!
5) Drinks at Bakan
Bakan is a Latin-fusion restaurant in Wynwood and is another beautiful space that is just begging you to take a photo. The cocktails are all very photogenic and if you can be there at sunset, the light is just amazing.
6)Visit Miami: Nikki Beach
Practically everything at Nikki Beach is photo worthy, whether you snap a pic of you and the crew lounging in your cabana, eating sushi or cheers-ing to their VIP bottle service, a day at Nikki Beach is a day well spent. And be sure to capture it all, because JPEGs or it didn’t happen!
7) Sweet Liberty
Sweet Liberty is a funky cocktail spot located on South Beach and there are known for their beautiful tropical cocktails so of course if you are looking for photo locations this is a great spot to check out as well!
8) Cadillac Hotel & Beach Club
The Cadillac Hotel is a quirky Mid-century modern property by Autograph Hotels. Located in South Beach, the spot to hang out it either at the pool or at the beach side restaurant. Spend a day here just relaxing and you are sure to come away with some great content for the ‘gram on any visit to Miami!
9) Vegan dishes and drinks at Planta
Also located on South Beach, Planta is a hip spot for Vegan eats, but don’t worry you don’t have to be Vegan to enjoy the menu here. The flavors are so fabulous even omnivores will be licking their lips.
