It may be March, but if you’re trying to fit in as many ski days as possible to break even on your Ikon Pass, we got you. Planning a ski trip can be a hassle, add in keeping track of access to various mountains, whether or not you need to make an Ikon reservation, it can be a headache. We’ve made it simple with all the need-to-know information. Here are our favorite places to ski on the Ikon Pass in the USA.

Big Sky Resort

Big Sky is the largest ski resort in the US! They offer over 5,800 skiable acres, high speed lifts and a newly opened tram to the top of Lone Peak.

Jackson Hole Mountain Resort

Jackson Hole is known for its challenging terrain, offering skiers a bit of a challenge. Add in the legendary après scene and iconic views of the Tetons and Jackson Hole is a no brainer for a late season ski trip.

Aspen Snowmass

You get access to 4 mountains! Aspen Mountain, Aspen Highlands, Snowmass, and Buttermilk. With 7 days you have more than enough time to explore all 4 mountains then go back for more at your favorites. We personally loved all the diverse terrain at Snowmass, there was a little something for everyone there.

Deer Valley Resort

Three words: skier only mountain. If you are a skier who partakes in the rivalry between skiers and snowboarders and would like a day on the mountain with no boarders look no further than Deer Valley.

Steamboat

Ikon Access: Unlimited

Steamboat is great for beginner and intermediate skiers and has a reputation for being a very family friendly resort if you’re looking to book a family spring break trip.

Mammoth Mountain

Last year Mammoth skied until August! So far they’re received 270 inches of snow this season and they got 38 inches this week alone. With unlimited Ikon Pass days and a nice long season Mammoth is a fantastic choice for a late season ski trip.

Alta Snowbird

We love two mountains for the price of one! Just a short ride from Salt Lake City these mountains are easily accessible, stay in the city or if you want to avoid the traffic stay right by the mountain.

Palisades Tahoe

Palisades Tahoe has been getting slammed with snow! They have received 79 inches in the past week! Ski with gorgeous views of Lake Tahoe and an amazing après scene Tahoe should be on everyone’s list this season.

Sun Valley

Despite being consistently ranked one of the best mountains in the country, Sun Valley is often over looked. Meaning if you’re really looking to avoid lift lines and spend as much time as you can on the mountain, Sun Valley is a great choice.

Killington-Pico

The beast of the east! Killington boasts the longest season on the east coast, with so many mountains on the east coast planning to close early this season due to lack of snow, Ikon Pass holders can count on Killington to squeeze in those last few days on the mountain.
