A French 75 and a Trip to the Peninsula Paris

Is there anything like a trip to Paris to lift the spirits? Even in the rain and the cold, Paris will shake off any cobwebs of cabin fever you may be feeling. Book a trip to Paris from Boston this winter and splurge on the hotel and book the Peninsula Paris. One of the truly great hotels in Paris, the Peninsula is a treat no matter what time of year you book. But before we get into all the reasons to book a trip to Paris this year, lets treat ourselves to a little Parisian cocktail to get in the mood.

The French 75

Named after the fast-firing 75-millimeter field gun that was used by the French during World War I, the French 75 is a classic cocktail that goes down easily. And of course we like to make ours with our favorite gin, Highclere Castle Gin!
