Welcome to ‘Travel Talks’, where the world’s foremost explorers, hospitality experts, and wanderlust aficionados share their stories, tips, and insider perspectives, guiding you through the destinations they know best. Did you miss our last one with Garison Beale, the General Manager of Greydon Hotel Group?
This week we are back in Downtown Boston chatting with Sean Howe, the GM at the Revere Hotel Boston Common. With over 15 years of hotel leadership experience in Boston area hotels, Sean knows the city inside and out and today he is sharing his insider tips and tricks with us!

Why do you love boston?
Boston represents the best a city has to offer. Incredible culture, diverse experiences, and a small time familiarity that brings comfort to everyone.
What is a hidden gem at The Revere Hotel?

I would say our meeting and event space is our hidden gem. We have over 40,000 square feet and one of Boston’s largest event spaces. Most people do not associate independent hotels with that plentiful convention space.
What is your favorite restaurant or bar nearby?

Tough one but would have to go with Grill 23.
What is your favorite thing to do in Boston in the summer?
I love taking my kids to the Public Gardens, riding the swan boats, sitting on the ducklings on a nice day.
What is your favorite thing to do in Boston in the winter?
Definitely The New England Aquarium!
Anything new and exciting happening at the Revere right now?

In addition to preparing for Rooftop season at the Revere Hotel Boston Common, there are some incredible things happening in Rebels Guild. We are bringing back brunch on Saturday and Sundays, hosting Dollar Oyster Night every Tuesday, and have a completely refreshed dinner and cocktail menu.
