Name the main reason why you love Bali & Hotel Indigo Bali Seminyak Beach.

I’ve been very lucky to call Bali home for more than 10 years now. I specifically love how Hotel Indigo Bali, combines the traditional essence of Bali with its vibrant and genuine approach to service culture. I would not want to be anywhere else.

What is a hidden gem at the hotel?

Where do I start? Our serene 1- and 2-bedroom private pool Villas? Or our beloved lavish breakfast buffet or being served by the ocean. Some love to start the day with Balinese massage by the pool. As you can see, there are endless gems.

What is your favorite restaurant or bar nearby?

Motel Mexicola for the vibes and good Mexican snacks, Mamasan for a true upscale Asian meal and our modern Izakaya Japanese restaurant, SugarSand for sushi with a sunset view.

What is your favorite thing to do there in the peak season?

Peak season means the weather is beautiful, and when time allows, I love to explore the archipelagoes of Indonesia by motorbike.

What is your favorite thing to do there in the off season?

Apart from running the hotel, which is busy throughout the year, I enjoy traveling to Europe and making a traditional visit to the Munich Oktoberfest to reunite with old friends.

Another thing I really enjoy is doing nothing at all…

Tell us something new going on there right now?

We’ve launched new menus in two of our main outlets last year and this year: Japanese Izakaya at SugarSand beachfront and Southeast Asian favorites at Makase all-day dining. Apart from that, our team is currently working on our upcoming 7th anniversary later this year, with a lot of activations ranging from art, fitness, and wellness to F&B offers. On the room side, we continue to upgrade our facilities and amenities, including a new built-up hair salon. We are expanding and collaborating with more local partners in efforts to create a more sustainable and ecological footprint. This involves many community and environmental plans, as well as continuous efforts to uplift, enhance, and revitalize our resort property. 😊
